Ten Year Comprehensive Water Management Plan
The last stages for the approval of the District's 10 Year Comprehensive Plan are a 45 day review by state agencies and final review by the Board of Water and Soil Resources. These are the culminating steps in a process that began in the summer of 2008 when the Board of Managers met to create a Strategic Plan for the District.
In the fall of 2008, all District residents were invited to attend kick-off meetings with representatives of local governments and state agencies. Attendants were asked to participate on a citizens' and technical advisory commiittees to provide on-going comment as the Plan progressed. Our consultants tracked all the comments and the Board reviewed them, making the appropriate changes to the Plan.
The District has sent the Plan to all appropriate reviewing agencies, with additional courtesy copies sent to local governments within the District. The Board of Managers is please to offer the sections of the Plan for your review. Feel free to provide any added comments to

Many of the Objectives and Strategies in Plan Section II above are a result of the Board's work on its Strategic Plan in 2008.
