Citizen Advisory Committee

The managers appoint members to the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) to advise the board on regular watershed business or special projects.

Committee members must live in the communities that are included within the watershed boundaries. CAC members can be appointed to the advisory committee at any regular board meeting throughout the year.

MS 103D.331.
For more information or to volunteer to participate, contact Mike Isensee at (651) 275-7451.

Who is the CAC?

The Citizen Advisory Committee is a resident-led volunteer advisory group to the Carnelian-Marine-St. Croix Watershed District that is appointed by the District Board of Managers.

CAC members come with a variety of interests, talents, and educational backgrounds and desire to further common goals in their community.

Members provide guidance on which issues are most important to them, and how we can continually improve our programs. The CAC assists the Board of Managers on matters affecting the interests of the Watershed District such as providing feedback on the District’s strategic initiatives, organizational plans, policy priorities, educational, and volunteer events.

Interested in Joining the CAC?

The District is currently seeking CAC members to serve a two-year term. Please contact Mike Isensee for more information and an application.
