The public is invited to join us for a evening dedicated to the health and future of Big Carnelian Lake.

A quorum of CMSCWD Board Managers will be present for the Big Carnelian Lake Open House on Thursday, June 29, 2023. The gathering will provide an opportunity to learn more about concerning trends and needed efforts to keep Big Carnelian Lake a healthy and productive recreational lake.

The meeting will have experts from the Washington Conservation District, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Washington County and the CMSCWD to discuss and answer questions about:
-Water Quality and Chlorides
-DNR Biotic Assessments and Fisheries Management
-Technical Assistance and Cost Share
-Shoreline and Shoreland Rules
-Future Water Quality Projects Planned for Big Carnelian Lake
